Briefed is a UK business intelligence company. It runs three products: a daily briefing for founders, operators, and investors; a professional research platform with grounded, source-cited outputs; and a data infrastructure layer for institutions that need corporate ownership and public markets data delivered into their own systems. The company is registered and headquartered in Manchester.
Connor grew up in Cornwall and started his first business while still in school. He built and later sold a hosting company, then co-founded Northlayer, a technology company based in Cornwall. Alongside that, he served as chair of the local Chamber of Commerce. He was recognised by Business Cornwall in its 30 Under 30 for 2025 and received the Spirit of Trevithick award. He moved to Manchester to build Briefed.
